Road closeThe Camden County Department of Public Works announces the following road closures:

Roadwork to close road in Barrington

PSE&G will be restoring roadway on Gloucester Pike in Barrington on Monday, Oct. 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a full road closure between East Atlantic Avenue and Clements Bridge Road.

Roadwork to close road in Camden

PSE&G will be working on Federal Street in Camden on Monday, Oct. 28 and Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be a partial road closure westbound between Newton Avenue and Flanders Boulevard. 

Roadwork to close road in Audubon

PSE&G will be working on Crystal Lake Avenue in Audubon from Monday, Oct. 28 to Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Prospect and Hopkins avenues.

Roadwork to close road in Merchantville

PSE&G will be working on East Park Avenue in Merchantville from Monday, Oct. 28 to Thursday, Oct. 31 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a partial road closure northbound between South Center Street and East Chestnut Avenue. 

Roadwork to close road in Berlin Borough 

Crews will be working on Jackson Road in Berlin Borough from Monday, Oct. 28 to Friday, Nov. 1 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Washington and Pine streets. 

“Motorists should plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”

The Camden County Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining over 1,200 miles of county roadway, 50 bridges and several dams. They are dedicated to making our area safer for motorists and pedestrians through county highway construction projects and road maintenance, including pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting and storm drainage upkeep. The Public Works Department is located in Lindenwold where personnel are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve the residents of Camden County.
