Rowan Men's Soccer Shuts Out William Paterson, 4-0

DownloadGLASSBORO, NJ – Jake Homowitz had a goal and an assist to lead Rowan to a 4-0 win over William Paterson in NJAC men’s soccer action this evening. The Profs are without a loss in conference play (2-0-2) thus far, while improving to 5-4-5 on the year. 
 
Homowitz put the Profs up 1-0 at 24:53 as he scored his first goal at Rowan, dribbling into the box and converting a shot to the lower right. 
 
The junior transfer set up the second goal, as he dribbled into the box and sent a pass to the left that Davide Caputo netted at 29:44. 
 
Rowan added one in the second half, as Aiden McGuigan sent a cross to Jason Barragan, who converted it at 68:35 for his first goal of the year. 
 
Ryan Gale finished things off, intercepting a defensive cross and putting it into the empty net at 70:42 for his first goal of the season. 

Dylan Aportela made three saves to post his second shutout. 
 
Rowan heads to rival Stockton on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. match.
