Ron passed away peacefully at home in National Park, NJ; formerly of Audubon, NJ.  Age 73 years.Loving father of Lynda (Susanne Morganstein) Bobo, Kathleen (Michael) Yacovone, Olivia (Michael) Golding, Madison Heller and the late John Bobo.  Devoted grandfather of Sophia, Carissa, Sydney, Mia, Joseph and Jameson.  Beloved son of the late William and Norma Heller and stepson of the late Wilber Hull.  Dear brother of the late Linda Hoff and the late William Heller.  Ron was also the former husband of the late Margaret Grim and Michael Konecsny.    

Ron was a dedicated member of the Audubon Fire Department for over 55 years. He joined Heavy Rescue at the age of 16 then went on to become a member of the Audubon Fire Department Company #1. Through his years of service, he rose to the rank of Chief, and served as president for many years. Ron also served as treasurer for the local Fireman’s Relief Association and was a life member of the Camden County Fireman’s Association.

A longtime resident of Audubon and a 1969 graduate of Audubon High School, Ron also graduated from Sea Girt Police Academy in 1972 and went onto serve as a police officer for the Audubon Police Department for 26 years, retiring in 1998.

Ron loved his grand puppies Baxter, Bentley, and Bambi and family trips to Disney World.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Thursday, October 3, 2024, 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 250 S. White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ.  Memorial service will follow at 12:00 Noon.  Interment private.
