On October 26, officers from the 2nd District responded to a missing person report at this location. Upon further investigation, officers returned to the residence, where they located the victim in the garage, wrapped in a blanket and towel. The female was pronounced deceased by medics at 4:21 p.m. The cause of death has not been determined. The scene is secured, and no arrests or weapons have been recovered. The investigation is ongoing and being handled by the Homicide Unit.

A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.October 27, A double shooting occurred in the 35th District at 1900 Windrim Avenue around 2:31 PM. A 32-year-old female was shot once in the right elbow and was transported by police to Einstein Hospital, where she is in stable condition. All tips can remain anonymous.October 27, in the 15th District: Shooting incident at 4700 Torresdale Ave on the highway at 2:16 PM. A 40-year-old male was shot twice in the right hip. He was transported by Medic 2 to Temple Hospital, where he is in stable condition. The scene is secured, and a male suspect is in custody. A vehicle has been held for investigation, and a firearm was recovered.

October 27, in the 3rd District at 300 Oregon Ave (6:55 p.m.): While traveling eastbound on Oregon Avenue and proceeding through a green light, a white Honda Accord struck a 69-year-old white female who had entered the intersection unexpectedly. The driver stopped and remained at the scene. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by Medic #43 at 7:00 p.m.
The investigation is ongoing with the Crash Investigation Division.
October 26, at 4:20 p.m.-63xx Roosevelt Blvd-The 2nd District responded to a robbery at Boston Market, located at 63xx Roosevelt Blvd. The offender entered the business, placed a food order, and, as the cashier opened the register, announced a robbery, displaying a handgun in his waistband. Taken was $500, and the offender fled in an unknown direction.

October 26, 2024, at 11:27 a.m.-50xx Rising Sun Ave-The 24th District responded to a robbery at Dunkin’ located at 50xx Rising Sun Ave. The offender displayed a black handgun in his waistband and demanded money. and the offender left with approximately $800.

October 26, 2024, at 9:09 a.m.-55xx Tulip Street-The 15th District responded to a robbery at ShopRite on 55xx Tulip Street. The offender approached the service desk, displayed a black handgun, and demanded money from the register. He fled the scene in a gold/champagne Chrysler Town & Country minivan (unknown tag).
