Gloucester Township Police Respond to a Head-On Collision with Injuries

On Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at approximately 12:03 PM, the Gloucester Township Police Department responded to a serious motor vehicle crash involving two vehicles on College Drive at the intersection of Cherrywood Drive. Surrounded by his family, Jack Saxenmeyer passed away peacefully at home on October 22, 2024, at the age of 69. A resident of Bellmawr and formerly of Gloucester City, Jack was a loving and devoted husband of 42 years to Deborah Saxenmeyer (nee Gallagher). NJ Needs to Focus on Bear Proof Containers, Not Another Needless Hunt 

So far 392 bears have been killed in the first round of New Jersey’s bear hunt.
