Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center Hosting Pleadge a Paw Fundraiser

On Saturday, the Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center will be hosting Pledge a Paw, the shelter’s largest fundraiser of the year. The event will feature 50 vendors, children’s activities, music, a K9 demonstration from the Bellmawr Police Department and a pet costume contest. Additionally, there will dogs and cats available for adoption.

“Homeward Bound does incredible work caring for animals that do not have a forever home and this event is crucial to keep that work going,” said Commissioner Jeffrey Nash, liaison to the shelter. “Saturday will also be a wonderful opportunity for anyone who has been considering adopting a pet, to do so. I encourage everyone to join us for a great day on Saturday and to support this amazing organization.”

Additionally, pets at the shelter will have an adoption fee of just $1 through Sunday, Oct. 6. Animals under six months old and small dogs are not included in the special.
