Retired Gloucester City Letter Carrier Steve Lipski Succumbs; Funeral Services Friday

 

Steve Lipski, aged 69, passed away on October 20th, 2024. Steve was a loving and devoted husband to Janet R. Lipski (nee Gracie) for 43 years. He was the loving father of Stephen J. Lipski, Jr. (Shannon), Thomas Lipski (Danielle), and Christine Williams (Dan) and a cherished grandfather of Stephen III, Roman, Elijah and Mia. Steve was the beloved brother of Stan Lipski and his wife, Paula and son of the late Stanley and Jean Lipski. Screenshot 2024-10-24 at 15.47.49

Steve was a lifelong resident of Gloucester City and a graduate of Gloucester Catholic High School class of 1974. Before his retirement, Steve was a dedicated letter carrier for the United States Postal Service in Gloucester City for 36 years. He was the former president of Branch 908 of National Association of Letter Carriers. Steve enjoyed reading, grilling, visiting new craft breweries and spending time with his family. He was a diehard Philadelphia sports fan.

Relatives, friends and USPS family are invited to his visitation on Friday morning, October 25th from 10 AM to 12 PM at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 200 E. Clements Bridge Road, Runnemede, NJ 08078. Funeral service 12 PM in the church. Interment private.

Funeral services for Mr. Lipski will be held on Friday, October 25 at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 200 E. Clements Bridge Road, Runnemede. Visitation will be from 10 AM to 12 Noon, followed by Services at noon.
