When detected early, most cancers can be more successfully treated than when found at a later, more advanced stage. Area residents are invited to prioritize their health with essential cancer screenings at a special Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center event on Saturday, November 9, from 8 a.m. to noon, at Jefferson Cherry Hill Hospital (2211 Chapel Avenue, Suite 501).

Available screenings to be offered include:

· Breast Exam and Same-Day Mammography

· Prostate Cancer Screening

· Lung Cancer Screening and Same-Day CT Scan

· Oral, Head and Neck Cancer Screening

· Colorectal Cancer Screening

· Gynecological Cancer Screening

· Audiology Screening

This event will also feature free blood pressure and diabetes screenings, COVID-19 and flu vaccines, health education, giveaways, and tours of the hospital’s new Cancer Center.
