After months of nonpayment, Philadelphia-area child care providers explore taking legal action as they call for accountability and immediate monetary relief as they battle late fees, lost staff, and other hardships.

PHILADELPHIA – Since July, a change in payment vendors has resulted in Philadelphia area childcare providers going without vital payments from the previous vendor, Caring People Alliance. This has resulted in providers taking hits to their credit scores for late fees on rent and other business expenses, lost staff due to inability to pay wages, and other deep hardships as providers try to continue to provide vital care for Philadelphia’s children and families without being paid for it. Join CCPU-PA providers as they highlight the impact this negligence has had on themselves and their clients.
