13-Year-Old Female Shot and Killed in Philadephia
Charles Guidotti, age 87, of Haddon Heights Retired Camden City Police Officer

George Leo Lawler, of Bellmawr

Peacefully, on Friday, September 13th, 2024, in the comfort of Screenshot 2024-09-19 at 00.00.57home, and amongst family, George transitioned from this world to be forever by the Lord's side. George is survived by his three children, Lisa (Paul) Greiner, Karen (Robert) St. Angelo, and Mark (Cheryl) Lawler; loving grandfather to Jennifer, Mattthew, Nicole and Michael; adored great-grandfather to Easton; loving brother to Janet (Skip) Comegna; former husband to Patricia Lawler for whom he had great respect and a continuous friendship over the years.

Cherished friend and neighbor Donna was a special light in George's life these last few years. George will be missed by K9 pals; Mikey, Georgie, Jonah, Bowser, Harley and will be welcomed in heaven by Dexter, Elvis, Jeffrey and Holly.

Growing up in Baltimore, Maryland, George honed his street smarts and social skills which would lead him to a life in sales. After attending Loyola High School, George received his degree at The University of Baltimore.

He began his career in pipes, valves, and fittings working for Whitehead Steele straight out of college as an outside salesman eventually working his way to NE Regional Manager for McJunkin Corporation in Chester, PA. George had a knack for sales and relationship building in a time when a handshake meant something, and your word had value. Many a deal was brokered during a game of golf or over lunch with clients. As he liked to say, "Pipes is my life!"

Though driven professionally, he always cherished time spent with his family, attended school functions, coached various sports, and always found a way to provide for his family putting their needs before his.

George should be remembered for his love of family, an amazing sense of humor, his love for music, and his unwavering faith in God. He will be greatly missed by many, especially his friends at Bellmawr Senior Housing.

A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 12th, 2024, from 12:30-3:00 p.m. at the Community Room in the Bellmawr Senior Housing; 255 W Browning Rd, Bellmawr, NJ 08031. Lunch will be served.
