Darryl Murchison was born on October 31, 1994, in Orange, NJ. He spent most
of his childhood at Children’s Seashore House in Ocean County, NJ. On January 1/29/2016, Youth Consultation Services Buena Vista Group Home was blessed to have Darryl join our Sawtelle Group Home family. He attended Elwyn Day Program, Vineland, NJ, until March of 2020. Darryl loved to listen to music. He had a favorite playlist consisting of Bruno Mars “24K Magic”, Marron 5 featuring Kendrick Lamar “Don’t Wanna Know”, Alessia Cara “Scars to Your Beautiful”, and Arianna Grande featuring Nikki Minaj “Side to Side”. No matter how Darryl was feeling, his smile would brighten up the room once the music was turned on. Staff would take turns dancing with him. Darryl was loved by the Buena Vista staff and his memory will be cherished forever.

Friends and caregivers of Darryl are invited to his viewing on Wednesday morning, September 18th from 10 to 11 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City, where his funeral service will be celebrated at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Waterford Memorial Park Cemetery, 679 Pestletown Rd, Waterford, NJ.
