CNB Crime: Lancaster City Police Arrest Suspect Linked to Three Separate Incidents

Incident #1:

On the night of July 18, 2024, Lancaster City Police officers responded to a report of suspicious activity on the 400 block of N Prince Street. Responding officers were informed there were reports of men wearing masks attempting to force entry into a residence. When officers arrived on scene, they observed evidence suggesting that a break-in had been attempted or possibly completed at the residence. Officers went into the home to ensure no one was harmed. During the search, it was determined no one was inside at the time, however, officers did observe in plain view evidence to suggest the residence was being used to conduct illegal drug sales. A search warrant for the residence was obtained. As a result of the search warrant, the following items were seized from the residence: 31 pounds of marijuana A stolen Taurus G3C 9mm firearm $3,210 in U.S. Currency Various forms of illegal narcotic paraphernalia Marckenson Cile was the current occupant of this residence and was charged with one count of Receiving Stolen Property (F2), one count of Possession With Intent To Deliver (F), and ten counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M). An arrest warrant was obtained.

Incident #2:

On September 4, 2024, at 2:14 am, Lancaster City Police initiated a traffic stop on a Chevrolet Malibu after observing a traffic violation, but the driver fled, resulting in a pursuit. Officers continued pursuing the Chevrolet until it was deemed unsafe for the community. After an investigation, it was determined that Marckenson Cile was the driver of the vehicle at the time of the pursuit. As a result, Cile is charged with one count of Fleeing and Eluding (F3), two counts of Driving On One-Way Roadways, three counts of Traffic Control Signals, and one count of Duties At Stop Signs. An additional arrest warrant was obtained. I

Incident #3:

On September 13, 2024, Lancaster City Police officers responded to the area of Manor Street and King Street for a reported disturbance. Officers observed Cile at the location and chased Cile who attempted to run from officers on foot. Cile was taken into custody by officers and was found to be in possession of marijuana. Cile received additional charges of Flight To Avoid Apprehension (F3), Fleeing on Foot (M2), Possession of Marijuana (M), and False Identification (M3).
