13-Year-Old Female Shot and Killed in Philadephia

PHILADELPHIA PA (September 18, 2024)--This evening, at approximately 7:37 PM, police responded to a shooting incident inside the second-floor hallway at 28xx N. Bailey St. Upon arrival, officers found a 13-year-old Black female suffering from a gunshot wound to the right side of her chest. Police transported the victim to Temple University Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased at 8:02 PM.
The scene remains secured, and investigators are actively working on the case. At this time, no weapons have been recovered, and no arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
