Proceeds from Art Sales Will Benefit Perkins Center’s Accessibility Fund

Moorestown, NJ (September 5, 2024) – Perkins Center for the Arts in Moorestown and Y.A.L.E. School have partnered to mount an exhibition of artwork created by local students with special needs. The show is open to the public and proceeds from artwork sales will be donated to Perkins Center’s Accessibility Fund. This builds upon a 3+ year partnership between the two organizations, which has given students exciting opportunities to showcase their art and has raised crucial funds to benefit Perkins Center’s mission of arts education for all. Y.A.L.E. School, a private special education school with 12 campus locations throughout southern New Jersey and the greater Philadelphia region, serves students with disabilities ages 3 through 21. BANK ROBBERY IN PHILLY WANTED BY FBI

Merrick's Overtime Goal Lifts #10 Rowan Field Hockey over #21 Swarthmore, 3-2

SWARTHMORE, PA -SEPTEMBER 4, 2024-- Gracie Merrick scored the game-winning goal in overtime to lift #10 Rowan to a 3-2 win over #21 Swarthmore in field hockey action, giving the Profs (1-1) their first victory of the year. A PERSON WITH A GUN source Philadelphia Police September 4, 2024 On Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at 11:26 p.m., officers from the 9th District responded to a report of a "Person with a Gun / Gunshots / Report of a male shot on the highway" on the unit block of S. 2nd Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered an unresponsive Black male lying on the highway with multiple gunshot wounds to his body. The victim was immediately transported by police to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 12:04 a.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2024. The victim has been identified as Michael Clemens 33 from 4XX E. Montana Street, A loaded firearm was found at the scene next to the victim.
