Woodbury Resident Arrested for Murdering 17-Year-Old in Camden City on August 27

CAMDEN CITY, NJ (August 28, 2024)--Detectives have arrested and charged a juvenile for the fatal shooting of another teenager in Camden City on Tuesday evening, announced Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez.

 

Following an investigation, a 17-year-old male from Woodbury was arrested in Camden on August 27, 2024, and charged with first-degree Murder and weapons charges. He was remanded to the Camden County Juvenile Detention Center.

 

On Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at approximately 5:52 p.m., officers from the Camden County Police Department were dispatched to the 1100 block of Everett Street for a report of a male lying in the street who was shot. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim, suffering from a gunshot wound. The male victim, who was later identified as Brian Still, 17, of Camden City, was transported to Cooper University Hospital, and he was pronounced deceased at 6:49 p.m.
