Haddon Township, NJ (July 24, 2024) — What’s new in Haddon Township this summer? A pizza award and coffee news, plus so much summer music! Here’s what’s coming up in this flourishing South Jersey town:

 

What’s New in Haddon Township?

 

  • Royal Mile Coffee Roasters is opening a new location in Haddon Town Center, 225 Haddon Avenue. Expect a 1200 square-foot cafe and shop with 20-30 seats, a coffee bar, and an expanded food menu. A rumored late night “coffee speakeasy” may launch a few months down the road. Royal Mile sells its coffee in every Philly-area Whole Foods.

  • Bricco Coal Fired Pizza ranked No. 29 on the Italian website 50 Top Pizza’s list of the top 50 top pizzerias in the United States for 2024. Read the glowing write-up. Located at 128 Haddon Ave, Bricco’s owner and pizza master Vincenzo Barone makes Neapolitan style pizza with a new New York spin in a 1,000-degree coal-fired oven. Bricco offers a nice outdoor seating area.

  • Jagged Edge Boutique, located at 123 Haddon Ave, is relaunching as a new brand identity, Alysian, a play on the word Elysian which describes a blissful state; divinely inspired. Alysian is a contemporary brand that pushes the boundaries of creative expression and individuality through style and fashion. Here, you’ll find a haven of unique bohemian-inspired clothing in sizes small through 3X.

 

Upcoming Haddon Township Events

 

  • National Night Out on August 6 from 5-8:30 p.m. join the Haddon Township Police Department for National Night Out; a night of FREE entertainment and activities for the whole family! This year’s event will be hosted by Audubon Park and will take place at the Audubon Park Soccer Field, located at the corner of A&B Roads. We will have hamburgers, hotdogs, a DJ, games, safety information and more! National Night Out brings together communities across the nation and is designed to build strong police community partnerships and promote safe neighborhoods through that engagement. 

 

  • Summer of Love—60s, 70s, & 80s Music Festival on August 24 from 2-10 p.m at Haddon Square. brings live music by local bands (performances by AM Radio, Eddie Berner, former A Flock of Seagulls lead guitarist, featuring his Rockin' Road Grill Band, and The Priceless Band), a beer garden, food trucks, a kids zone with a foam party, bubble bus, dance dome and more throughout the day.
