Person Shot in Pine Hill NJ

Pine Hill, NJ  (August 20, 2024)(CNBNews)- Detectives are investigating a shooting on Monday night that killed a man in Pine Hill, reported Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Pine Hill Police Chief Christopher Winters.

On Monday, August 19, 2024, at approximately 9:32 p.m., officers from the Pine Hill Police Department responded for a report of a person shot inside of a residence on the unit block of Hancock Lane in Pine Hill.  Upon arrival, officers located the victim – later identified as 27-year-old Justin Ezeiruaku of Pine Hill – suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  Ezeiruaku was transported by EMS personnel to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased at 2:51 a.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.

This investigation is active and ongoing at this time.
