Upon arrival, they learned that a 42-year-old resident had returned home from work and parked in her driveway. The stolen vehicle careened into the front of a home before grinding to a halt. The suspect's car came to a stop on the front lawn of a residence. Witnesses reported that two of the children were ejected from the car despite wearing seatbelts. Two children, aged six and ten, were taken to the hospital. The condition of the third child is unknown. The severity of the children's injuries is also unknown. On Friday, August 16, 2024, at approximately 6:35 PM, the Gloucester Township Police Department responded to a reported motor vehicle crash involving a four-wheeled all-terrain vehicle (ATV) on the Black Horse Pike at Clementon Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found the injured ATV operator lying in the roadway, while the ATV itself had come to rest in a nearby wooded area. Preliminary investigation revealed that the driver had unlawfully and recklessly operated the ATV on the Black Horse Pike. As a result of this reckless driving, the driver lost control and was ejected from the ATV. The unmanned vehicle continued to travel northbound on the Black Horse Pike before eventually crashing into the woods. Philadelphia – On August 2, 2024, at approximately 5:57 PM, Philadelphia Police responded to a report of a person screaming and a robbery alarm at Chickie’s and Pete’s, located on the 1500 block of Packer Ave. Upon arrival, officers discovered two groups involved in a physical altercation that stemmed from a family gathering. While attempting to disperse the groups, a Sergeant from the 1st District attempted to detain a male, later identified as Joseph Baldino of Philadelphia. Baldino resisted arrest and struck the Sergeant in the face multiple times. Police were able to subdue Baldino and he was placed into custody. Baldino was taken to Methodist Hospital for treatment of facial injuries sustained during the altercation. HARRISON TOWNSHIP, NJ (August 14, 2024)--On Monday August 12th at approximately 12:05am, The Harrison Township Police Department was dispatched to area of Mullica Hill Road and the Route 55 overpass in reference to a pedestrian that had been struck by a vehicle. An investigation by police revealed the following: A 2011 International 4000 box truck, operated by a 20-year-old male resident of Dover, Delaware, was traveling westbound on Mullica Hill Road when it struck a pedestrian who was walking along the westbound shoulder of the roadway. The pedestrian was identified as 67-year-old Joseph Logrande of Tampa, Florida. Logrande was transported to Inspira Medical Center of Mullica Hill, where he eventually succumbed to his injuries.
