HIGH SPEED CHASE IN GLOUCESTER CITY ENDS IN SERIOUS COLLISION, INJURIES REPORTED

GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ (August 17, 2024)(CNBNews)--A police chase in Gloucester City on Saturday afternoon, August 17, ended at Morris and Filmore Street when a black compact car, driven by a man, collided with a white vehicle occupied by a woman and three children. The suspect's car came to a stop on the front lawn of a residence.
Witnesses reported that two of the children were ejected from the car despite wearing seatbelts. Two children, aged six and ten, were taken to the hospital. The condition of the third child is unknown. The severity of the children's injuries is also unknown. It is reported that the police were pursuing the suspect throughout the city before the crash occurred, but this has not been confirmed.
CNBNews has requested a police report on the incident, but as of now, no response has been received.
