Summer Concerts with Matt Cappy & Friends

 and Shadows of the 60s

(Cherry Hill, NJ) – The Board of Commissioners will continue its Summer Concert Series with two performances this week.

On Monday, South Jersey’s own instrumentalist, Matt Cappy & Friends will be performing the Sunset Jazz Series at Wiggins Park at 8 p.m. On Friday, tribute group Shadows of the 60s will be performing at Lindenwold Park beginning at 8 p.m.

  • Matt Cappy & Friends are South Jersey natives led by accomplished instrumentalist, composer, and arranger, Matt Cappy performing soulful trumpet melodies.
  • Shadow of the 60s is a high-energy, heavily interactive Motown tribute performance, paying homage to classic performers like Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye, and the Temptations.

“These concerts are a great source of public entertainment that all Camden County residents can enjoy together as a community,” said Commissioner Ed McDonnell, liaison to the Department of Events and Community Outreach. “We prioritize providing free, quality entertainment for our residents to enjoy all summer long and can’t wait for this week’s lineup of shows.”

Admission to all shows are free and all are welcome to attend.
