LINDENWOLD RESIDENT CHARGED WITH FATAL SHOOTING IN CAMDEN CITY

Camden CITY N.J. – A Lindenwold man has been arrested and charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a man in Camden on June 28, 2024, announced Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez.
On July 26, 2024, Allan Watson, 32, of Lindenwold, was charged with first-degree Murder in the death of Donald Green, 43, of Camden. Watson was also charged with second-degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose and second-degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. Following an investigation, on July 29, 2024, Watson was arrested in Westville, N.J., by the U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force – Camden Division.
On Friday, June 28, 2024, at approximately 11:35 p.m., officers from the Camden County Police Department responded to a ShotSpotter activation for gunfire in the area of the 1000 block of Liberty Street in Camden. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim, later identified as Green, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers transported Green to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased at 12:22 a.m., on Saturday, June 29, 2024.
