Frances M. Hughes, of Audubon

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday 12 July 2024, of Audubon, NJ.  Age 81 years.

Beloved wife of 55 years to the late Robert Hughes.  Devoted mother of Stephen (Jacqueline), Robert Jr. (Theresa), Kate, Julie (Pete) and Timothy (Andrea).  Loving grandmother to Christopher, Patrick, Daniel, Lily and Grace.  Dear sister of (Mildred) Jean Sander.

Frances grew up in Philadelphia and was a long-time resident in Haddon Heights, where she was very involved in the community.  She worked as a registered nurse for 30 years at Kennedy Health System in Cherry Hill.  In her free-time, she enjoyed travel, reading, and spending time down the shore, cherishing her time spent with family and friends.  She was full of fun and had a real love of life and people.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Saturday, July 20, 2024, 9 AM to 11 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE, 250 White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ.  A time of sharing and remembrance will follow at 11AM.  Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to The Elizabeth Foundation for preschool deaf children, a charity close to her heart.  Donations may be directed to www.justgiving.com/page/julie-hughes-1720994932293.
