PHILADELPHIA, PA (June 19, 2024)--The following information is preliminary and subject to change as the investigation concludes. Updates will be sent as they become available.

At approximately 6:22 PM, police received a call reporting multiple individuals had been shot at 28xx North Barney Street. The victims include a 19-year-old male who was shot once in the left leg, a 31-year-old female who was shot once in the left hand, and a 23-year-old male who was shot once in the right buttock. All three were transported by private vehicle to Temple Hospital and have been placed in stable condition.
At approximately 6:22 PM, police received a report of multiple individuals shot on the highway at the 2800 block of North Barney Street. Upon arrival, officers confirmed that five people had been shot.
• Three individuals were transported to Temple University Hospital by private vehicle.
• Two females were transported to Temple University Hospital by police.
All victims appear to be adults. Their current conditions are unknown at this time.
Additionally, a 47-year-old female was shot once in the left thigh and a 29-year-old female was shot once in the right thigh. Both were transported by police to Temple Hospital and are also in stable condition. A 16-year-old female sustained two graze wounds, one to the abdomen and one to the right thigh. She was transported by police to St. Christopher’s Hospital and is in stable condition.
The scene is currently secured. No weapons have been recovered, and no arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing and is being led by the Shooting Investigation Group.
