Madeline M. Angelastro (nee Duff) of Egg Harbor Township, formally of Woodbury, passed away on June 15th, 2024 at the age of 86.

Family

Madeline is the only child of the late Walter and Madeline (nee McAuliffe) Duff, born on April 21st, 1938, in Philadelphia, Pa. Madeline grew up in National Park and attended Gloucester Catholic High School where she was named prom queen of the graduating class of 1956. While attending high school, Madeline was fortunate enough to meet the love of her life, the late Michael Angelastro (2010). The two married in 1958 and spent a loving 52 years together.  The pair became instantly inseparable, creating a love story rooted in friendship, honesty, and passion. Together Michael and Madeline loved to travel and spend time down the shore. They held so much love in their hearts for one another, and decided to share it by welcoming their three beautiful children, Michael (Stacey), Chris(Hope), and Lisa (Brian). As a family the house was always full of love and laughter as the family loved to spend time together. Together they would take family trips skiing up north and even out west or to a beautiful tropical island. Spending summers in Ocean City they eventually settled in Margate. As the kids became older and invested in their own hobbies, Madeline and Michael made it a priority to attend every event they could for their children and grandchildren. The family enjoyed breakfast together on Sunday mornings followed by a traditional Italian dinner with Mommoms spaghetti sauce. It was important to Madeline for the family to sit down together and be present in each other's lives. Her children can recall their favorite recipes Madeline used to make, such as her chicken cutlets and delicious lasagna. Madeline loved to host family celebrations and holidays as she got to cook for the people she held dearest. During the holidays, Madeline would bake Christmas cookies by the hundreds for her family and friends and passed the tradition on to her grandchildren who now bake the cookies each year.

Madeline's world became a little bit brighter when she became the beloved Mommom of Michaellea (Matt), Matthew (Morgan), Maddison (Drew), Marc, Elliana, Jagger, (Kylie, Casey, and Morgan). Great grandmother of Emmie, Noah, Jaxon, Beckett, Oliver, and Duke. Madeline loved having the little ones around. She created beautiful blankets for her grandchildren that were truly made with love in each stitch. While Madeline lived for her family, she also had a deep love for her cats throughout her life.
