Linda Ruth Williams grew up in Gloucester City and still has many relatives in the state of New Jersey. She passed away on June 4, 2024, at the age of 73 in Boynton Beach, Florida. Her parents, John Williams and Ruth Alberta Whildin Williams, preceded her in death.
 
Her cousin Gary Devine, a South Jersey resident, expressed appreciation for publishing her obituary. "Linda Ruth Williams was my cousin. Our grandparents, Henry and Theresa Williams, resided on the 900-unit block of Somerset Street. They had 12 children and 59 grandchildren. Most of the families grew up in Gloucester City."
