GTPD Investigate Two Vehicle Crash With Injuries

 
 
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ (JUNE 19th)--On Tuesday, June 18th, 2024, at approximately 11:55 PM, the Gloucester Township Police Department responded to Erial-Blenheim Road for a reported motor vehicle crash involving two vehicles.
 
Upon arrival, officers located two vehicles in the roadway with damages and injured occupants. Investigation showed that the vehicles collided head-on and the impact resulted in significant damage to both vehicles. The impact was so severe that it caused one of the vehicles to overturn resulting in a driver extraction. Two drivers and one passenger were transported to local hospitals with serious bodily injuries.
 
 
Erial-Blenheim Road was closed between Church Street and the Black Horse Pike for several hours during the crash investigation. The crash is being investigated by the Gloucester Township Police Serious Crash Investigation Team (SCIT). Station 84 Blackwood Fire Company, Virtua Paramedics, and Inspira Basic Life Support assisted at the crash scene.
 
The crash currently remains under investigation by the Serious Crash Investigation Team (SCIT) and there are no criminal charges at this time. All names are being withheld pending further investigation and notifications.
