BROOKLAWN, NJ (CNBNews)(June 22, 2024)-- --At their latest council meeting, the Mayor and Council of Brooklawn proudly welcomed three new patrolmen to the Borough Police Department.
Additionally, they decisively approved several community enhancement projects. These include the construction of Pickleball courts on the east and west sides of the borough, the resurfacing of the west side basketball court with new basketball racks, and new elevated aluminum bleachers on the first and third base sides of the Joe Barth baseball field, Browning Road. The bleachers will have the capacity to hold 55 fans. The old wooden bleachers, part of the charm of the Joe Barth Field, will be relocated around the Barth Field.
That baseball diamond is the home field of the Brooklawn Legion and Gloucester Catholic Baseball Teams.
