Rowan has Earned an At-Large-Bid

GLASSBORO, NJ – Rowan has earned an at-large bid to the 2024 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship and will participate in the NCAA Granville (OH) Regional hosted by Denison University, with Millikin and Hanover rounding out the field in the four-team regional.  

 

The Profs (27-13) will open play in the double-elimination tournament against Millikin (29-14) on Friday, May 17 at 2:30 p.m. at Big Red Field. Number-two ranked and top-seeded Denison (39-6)  will face Hanover (30-15) at 11 a.m. with the tournament continuing on Saturday and Sunday.  The regional champion will advance to the NCAA Super Regionals on May 24-25.  

 

Games are scheduled for 11 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. on Sunday. If another game is necessary on Sunday to crown the champion, it will be played shortly after the first game.  

 

It marks the seventh consecutive NCAA appearance for Rowan under head coach Mike Dickson. The Profs have also reached the NCAA Super Regionals for three consecutive years, while advancing to the NCAA Division III World Series in 2021.  

 

Last year, Rowan won the Ambler (PA) Regional to advance to the NCAA Salisbury Super Regional, where the Profs fell to #2 Salisbury.
