Gloucester High Lady Lions Host #7 Kingsway Saturday

On Saturday May 11 at 7:00 the 13-3 Lions will host #8 State ranked 18-2 Kingsway. The Lions bounced back from a loss earlier in the week to Audubon by beating the West Deptford Eagles 2-1 on a 2 out single in the bottom 7 for the walk off win.

Gloucester Pitcher Olivia George went the distance allowing 1 run on 3 hits along with 7 strikeouts. With the win the Lions remain 1 game behind conference leading Haddon Heights who will host the Lions Monday for a share of the Conference lead.

On the Junior Varsity level, Lions Freshman Brianna Succio retired 21 straight batters for a perfect game against Gateway.
