Lumberton, NJ. On April 16, 2024, at the age of 79. Born in Camden, NJ, he was the son of the late Norma Carvell.                                           . 

Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Susan (McGee) Carvell. He is also survived by his son, Robert E. Lafferty (Michele); daughter, Wendy Haughey (Rodger); cherished granddaughters, Abigail and Alyssa. 

Bill graduated from Tennessee Tech where he was a standout basketball player. He then went on to work in sales, retiring in 2002 as a salesman for AT&T Wireless in Moorestown, NJ. He loved to make people laugh, watch his favorite sports teams, and enjoyed playing golf. 

Relatives and friends are invited to Bill’s viewing on Monday, April 22nd from 6 to 8 pm at the McCann-Healey Funeral Home, 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City, NJ. His burial will be held privately in New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.
