RUNNEMEDE, NJ (April 8, 2024)(CNBNews)--The GFWC Woman's Club of Runnemede, along with the Runnemede, Somerdale, and Barrington Green Teams, proudly present the third installment of their Environmental Lecture Series. This engaging series, aimed at raising awareness and fostering understanding of critical environmental issues, will feature Anjuli Ramos, State Director for the New Jersey Chapter of the Sierra Club.

The upcoming lecture is scheduled for April 10, 2024, at St. Maria Goretti Hall, located at 321 Orchard Ave, Runnemede, NJ 08078, beginning at 6:30 pm. This event marks the third of four seminars, following successful presentations on February 20, 2024, and March 19, 2024, with a concluding lecture slated for May 1, 2024.

Anjuli Ramos brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the discussion. With a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico and an M.S. in Environmental Chemistry and Air Pollution Science and Technology from Rutgers University, she is a respected environmental scientist and activist. As the Chapter Director for the NJ Sierra Club, Ramos has spearheaded numerous initiatives, mobilizing volunteers to advocate for renewable energy and combat the expansion of fossil fuel infrastructure.

Students, particularly 7th graders from area schools, are encouraged to attend the lecture series in exchange for extra credit. This unique opportunity allows young minds to engage with pressing environmental issues and gain valuable insights from a seasoned expert like Anjuli Ramos.
