John Chamberlin, 88, of Mt. Eprhaim

In the loving care of his family and the staff at Samaritan Hospice Inpatient at Voorhees, John passed peacefully on April 24, 2024 at the age of 88. Loving husband of 14 years to Lynda Chamberlin. Loving father of Christine Chamberlin Wabs and her husband, Dave. Cherished grandfather of Matthew and Emma Wabs. Predeceased by his wife Mamie Chamberlin as well as his 11 brothers and sisters. John was born in Camden, NJ to the late George and Ethel Chamberlin. He grew up in East Camden and was a resident of Mt. Ephraim since 2002. John proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy. He was a dedicated employee of Acme Markets in Maple Shade for over 35 years. John enjoyed reading, traveling and was a longtime Friend of Bill (FOB).

Relatives, friends and fellow Friends of Bill are invited to his viewing on Saturday, May 4th from 9 to 11 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St, Gloucester City. Funeral Services will begin at 11 AM in the funeral home officiated by Rev. Daniel Amey of Brooklawn United Methodist Church. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Camden County Veterans Cemetery at Harleigh Cemetery, Camden.
