Fatal Motor Vehicle Accident in Pennsauken

Pennsauken, N.J.- Detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash in Pennsauken that killed a man on Tuesday afternoon, announced Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Pennsauken Police Chief Phil Olivo.
On April 16, 2024, at approximately 3:22 p.m., the Pennsauken Police Department was dispatched to the area of the 9000 block of Crescent Boulevard southbound for a two-car motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival, Pennsauken Police officers located a Chrysler motor vehicle that crashed into the rear of a tractor-trailer. A passenger, identified as a 20-year- male from Pennsauken, was entrapped in the Chrysler and later pronounced deceased on scene. The driver of the Chrysler was identified as a 20 year-old male from Pennsauken and he was transported to Cooper University Hospital in stable condition. The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.
This investigation is active and ongoing at this time.
