COLLINGSWOOD, NJ (April 16, 2024)(CNBNews)--The Camden County Board of Commissioners will present the second annual String Band Parade on Saturday, a daylong event to highlight the county as a destination and deliver a boost to the local economy. This year, former Philadelphia Eagle player Jon Runyan will lead the parade as Grand Marshall.

The event will feature food, games and music from 15 participating string bands that will perform in a parade down Haddon Avenue. After the parade ends string bands will continue to play outside sponsored establishments throughout Haddon Township.

“We are thrilled to bring this event back for the second year, as the first parade was such a smashing success that again turned Camden County into a destination for the region,” said Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli Jr. “This is a great opportunity for residents and visitors to have some fun and support local businesses in Camden County.”
