Owned by Mikel and Kelly Thomas, a mother and son duo from Philadelphia, Philly Photo Spot opened in 2021 with the goal of being a place for everyone to come, take photos and have fun. After 3 years in business, the Thomas’ are thrilled with the reaction to the selfie museum what it has done for the community.

“This has been so much fun to create,” said the Thomas’. “We have been planning some incredible events in this space and love to do themed events for the community that allows kids to be themselves and have fun. Our Mission is to inspire the excitement in creating, sharing, learning, and exploring. We want people to feel inspired by the possibilities, embrace their inner creator, and follow their interests without judgment or assumption. We want to help people do this, so we opened Philly Photo Spot, a selfie museum, studio, and event space for people of all ages. Our goal is to help people build confidence by taking pictures whether selfies or professional pictures to help show people their true beauty."
