Philadelphia, PA - March 4, 2024 - At approximately 3:45 PM, a shooting incident occurred at Broad and Godfrey in the 35th District. According to preliminary reports, the incident unfolded as a bus was stopped, and individuals were boarding when unidentified assailant(s) began firing shots.

 

Victim #1, a 17-year-old  male, sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the body. He was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center by Police where he was pronounced deceased at 3:53 pm.

 

Victim #2, a 15-year-old male, suffered a graze wound to the right shoulder. He was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center by Police and is reported to be in stable condition.

 

Victim #3, a 71-year-old female, was shot once in the forehead. She was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center by Police and is currently in stable condition. 

 

Victim #4, a 49-year-old female, sustained a graze wound to the right forearm. She was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center by Police and is reported to be in stable condition.

 

Victim #5, a 15-year-old male suffered a graze wound to the buttocks. He was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center by private vehicle at approximately 5:36 pm. He is reported to be in stable condition.

 

The scene is currently under investigation, and as of now, no arrests have been made, and no weapon(s) have been recovered. Further updates will be provided as information becomes available.
