Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle Crossing College Drive


GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ (March 23, 204)(CNBNews)--On March 19, 2024 at approximately 19:20 hours, Gloucester Township Police were dispatched to the area of College Drive and Erial Road for a report of a pedestrian that had been struck by a vehicle while crossing the roadway. The driver of the vehicle remained at the crash scene and was not injured. College Drive eastbound was closed for approximately two and a half hours. Gloucester Township Police Serious Crash Investigation Team (SCIT) is actively investigating the crash.

Gloucester Township Fire District 85, Inspira EMS, and Virtua Medics assisted at the crash scene.

The victim at the time of this news release is in serious but stable condition. The name of the victim is being withheld pending notifications and further investigation.
