Surrounded by his loving family, on February 29, 2024. Age 48. Of Gloucester City. Loving husband of Karen Spencer. Beloved father of Megan Spencer (Vidal Sr.), Sierra Hill, James D. Spencer, III and Dominic Spencer. Cherished son of James D. Spencer, Sr. and Lucetta “Sue” Spencer. Loving brother of Lynda M. Spencer. Cherished grandfather of Vidal, Jr. and Ivan. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Predeceased by his grandparents, James L. Spencer & Jane L. Spencer, as well as William J. Zee and survived by his grandmother, Lucetta Zee. 

Jim was the owner and operator of Spencer’s Pools, a business he recently started. He enjoyed all things outdoors, including camping, fishing and skiing. Jim had a passion for music and enjoyed playing the guitar, piano and drums.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday evening, March 7 from 5 to 7 PM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Funeral services will be celebrated at 7 PM in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
