Dennis Carridan Jr of Trauma Survivors Foundation to Release His First Book

Dennis Carridan Jr, the owner of Trauma Survivors Foundation, will release his first book “Beyond The Call: A First Responders Guide to Unbreakable Well-Being” on Saturday, April 13th at Bellefonte Brewing Co ‘s Brandywine location in Wilmington, Delaware at 6 p.m.
“Beyond The Call” is a comprehensive guide aimed at supporting the mental health and resilience of first responders, something Dennis knows all too well.
“Understanding the mental health need of first responders is not just crucial- it’s a moral imperative,” said Carridan Jr. “These brave men and women dedicate their lives to protecting and serving our communities, often facing traumatic and high-stress situations. By recognizing and addressing their mental health needs, we not only support their well-being but also strengthen the fabric of our society."
The book signing will feature beers from Bellefonte Brewing Company, delicious bites from their kitchen and live music from Eddie McLaughlin and DJ BennyZ. Guests who attend the event are also able to receive a free downloadable copies of “Own Your Bullshit” and “The First Responders Guide to Self-Care and Resilience,” two essential resources for first responders. Tickets to the event are $50, with proceeds supporting the mission of the Trauma Survivor Foundation.

The mission of the Trauma Survivors Foundation is to provide resources, education, and training necessary to serve those affected by trauma. As a foundation, they acknowledge and support the hard work put forth, sacrifices made, and acts of selflessness displayed by first responders. The Foundation is proud to offer scholarships for college-bound or current college students who are children of Volunteer Fire Fighters or Police Officers, to show their support and sincere gratitude for their parents’ services. The Trauma Survivors Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization incorporated in the State of Delaware. The money raised through donations from caring individuals goes directly to providing trained therapists for emergency response during and after traumatic events, training to expand the network of responders and scholarships to those that want to become certified and help carry out their mission. All their services are offered at a national level. For the past nine years, the Foundation has provided thousands of trauma survivors with resources, education, and training to aid their recovery. Since the inception nine years ago, 30,000 individuals have been helped through crisis intervention, there have been 2,500 have been trained therapists and crisis interventionists, 40,000 meals have been delivered to healthcare workers and first responders, and there have been 2,100 crisis responses.
