Live dealer games have revolutionized online casinos by bridging the gap between virtual and physical gambling experiences. These games feature real dealers operating in real-time from casino studios, using physical cards, roulette wheels, and other casino equipment. The action is streamed live to players' devices, allowing them to interact with the dealers and other players through a chat interface, adding a social element often missing in standard online games. This setup not only enhances the authenticity of the gaming experience but also assures players of the fairness of the games, as they can see the game unfold in real-time, just as they would in a physical casino. The technology behind live dealer games includes high-definition cameras, sophisticated software for seamless streaming, and optical character recognition (OCR) technology, which translates the dealer's physical actions into data the software can use, ensuring a smooth and interactive gaming experience. Recently, William E. Cleary Sr. CNBNews Editor and Publisher, and his son, William E. Cleary Jr., had to endure such a stressful situation due to false charges brought against them by the Gloucester City Police Department. Over several months they were summoned to court six times to answered charges of trespassing and theft that were never proven. Not knowning how many more times they would have to appear in court they pleaded guilty to a plea agreeement and each had to pay a $500 fine. It is even more disheartening to know that some of the people responsible for this are none other than the judge and the prosecutor who were supposed to uphold justice in Gloucester City. Those responsible not only harmed the reputation of the Cleary family but also undermined the integrity of the court system. And their actions reflected poorly on the community of Gloucester City. "Never pick a fight with people who buy ink by the barrel." ~Mark Twain UPDATED/CORRECTED William E. Cleary Sr. | CNBNews Editor As some of you may already know, my son and I were charged with trespassing on the Cold Springs School property and accused of stealing a small child's bench last October. The bench in question was actually broken and discarded in a trash pile next to a dumpster. If I had managed to fix it successfully, I would have given it to one of my great-grandchildren. On October 10, a video of the two of us behind the Cold Springs school placing the bench in my car appeared on the City Police Department's Facebook page. The caption that was published with the video implied that the two of us were thieves. It read, "The GCPD is investigating a robbery from Cold Springs School; if you recognize the individuals...

JEER—According to salary.com, the average salary for a Chief of Police in New Jersey is $131,100, with a typical range between $123,800 and $139,100. However, here in Gloucester City, the police chief is paid a salary between $125,000 and $240,000, but for some strange reason, the exact amount of this employee's compensation is not listed. This is a secret being kept from the taxpayers by their elected leaders, and it's unacceptable that such information is not disclosed. Once again, the residents are kept in the dark, and they are the ones paying the chief's salary. Shame on Mayor Baile and his six "YES Puppets" (Baus, Berglund, Cilurso, Johnson, Page, Timm)who continually vote to raise property taxes. Since 2018, Baile and his Puppets have been responsible for Gcity being listed in the Top 30 communities with the highest taxes in NJ. It's high time that taxpayers demanded transparency and accountability from...

Windy has yet to find a word he can’t make better through his own unique methods. Well, what got him fired up the other day was a meeting of the ladies of the garden club down at the nursery. Windy’s been helping Dewey with his manure business on the one day a week he spends helping others. Today wasn’t a helper day, but he couldn’t pass up the audience. They hadn’t gotten through old business when Windy stood, smiled, and spoke. “Dear ladies,” he said, “what an opera-tune moment this is, finding you all coagulated here in an effort to beatify the yards of our fair town. And what, you may ask, brings me to this conflagration? It’s the latest thing in gardening. Our chairman of...

(The Center Square) (March 27, 2024)— Embattled New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez says he won't be seeking reelection as a Democrat this year but is leaving open the possibility of running as an independent candidate. In a video posted on social media, Menendez, 70, said he won't resign from office and expects his "exoneration" from multiple federal indictments he is facing by the summer, allowing him to run in November’s general election. "Unfortunately, the present accusations I am facing — of which I am innocent and will prove so — will not allow me to have that type of dialogue and debate with political opponents that have already made it the cornerstone of their campaign," Menendez said in the nine-minute video. "New Jerseyans deserve better than that." His announcement comes days before the March 25 filing deadline for New Jersey's Democratic primary. Polls have shown Menendez trailing between Democrats Rep....

“The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia calls on Haverford College officials to condemn today’s student-organized campus event entitled “COVID in Times of Genocide: How Israel uses COVID as a Tool for Settler Colonialism in Palestine.” The event’s title dangerously and inaccurately implies that Israel spread coronavirus to advance its global control, repackaging a centuries-old antisemitic trope that Jews take advantage of global crises as a means for their own gain and advancement. In this case, the event’s narrative takes on a new form of the antisemitic blood libel trope, accusing Jews of committing ritual murder and perpetuating the harmful stereotype of Jews as evil and conniving. Higher education institutions have a responsibility to establish college campuses as a space for free speech and critical thinking. However, it must be rooted in academic integrity rather than disinformation. Haverford College and institutions of all sizes have a responsibility first and foremost to...
