PHILADELPHIA, PA (February 2, 2024)(CNBNews)--Corey Elickson, age 21, of the 17XX block of North 32^nd Street was charged on February 2, 2024 with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Indecent Assault, and related offenses in connection with the indecent assault of an employee in the South Philly Walmart store on January 8, 2024.  The suspect is presumed innocent until proven otherwise. 

In other matters, a shooting incident occurred on the highway at 9XX Locust Avenue at 6:03 PM. A 19-year-old male sustained a single gunshot wound to the lower back.  Police transported the male  to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he is currently in critical condition.

A weapon was recovered. Further updates on the investigation will be provided as information becomes available.
