The Lawnside Historical Society and Grace Temple Baptist Church present a Gospel Celebration on Sunday, Feb. 25, at 3 p.m. featuring Gospel ensemble Heaven Sent and vocalists Thelma Isaac and Sister Hope Bates. Doors open at 2 p.m.

 

The event at the Wayne Bryant Community Center, 323 E. Charleston Ave., will benefit the Peter Mott House Underground Railroad Museum.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the Mott House, or with the QR Code or by calling 856-546-8850.

Vendors will be on hand including caterer Sea and Sizzle selling meals.

A brief excerpt of the Emmy-Award winning NJPBS documentary, “Treasures of New Jersey: The Peter Mott House,” will be shown. The Lawnside Juneteenth 5K/Walk Run committee will present a donation from their 2023 fundraising event that benefited the House.
