On February 12, 2024. Age 68. Of Atlantic City. Formerly of Sewell and a longtime resident of Gloucester City. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 35 years, Juliann Barron (nee Markiewicz); his “daughter”, Kristina Vasquez (Brian); sisters, Mary Giles (Glenn), Theresa Barron, Marie Watson (William) and Alice Gallagher (Sean) and many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, William F. Barron, Sr. and Alice T. Barron (nee Madden); brother, William F. Barron, Jr. and sister, Catherine M. Barron.

John was a graduate of Gloucester High School class of 1973. For the last 40 years, he has proudly owned and operated John Barron Carpet Service Inc, working alongside his wife. John has been a longtime member of Avalon Country Club, where he cherished the friendships he made and considered many there to be his family. John and Julie are proud to be Godparents of 13 wonderful Godchildren. 

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday morning, February 16th from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM in the church. The interment will be private.
