Wednesday, February 28, 2024
Some 400 guests enjoyed a night of dining and dancing – as well as recognition for some special Jefferson team members -- at the recent 2024 Gala held at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City. Nearly $400,000 dollars was raised though the event, held on February 24, to support programs and services in the Jefferson - East Region. The entertainment headliner was DJ Jazzy Jeff. A great time was had by all! Thank you to everyone who supported this important fundraising event for our region.
Winners of the 2024 Giving Tank – a “Shark Tank” type contest -- were announced at the Gala. The Jefferson Health Foundation – New Jersey, through its generous donors, supported initiatives to either improve patient care or bolster employee wellness with funding of $225,000. Staff members vied for funding by submitting compelling requests. The largest prize was $100,000 for anoscopy equipment and training to provide lifesaving cancer screenings for high-risk patients.
