Taylor Swift is not the only influential woman impacting economies through her live events. According to a report issued by ticketing technology company Logitix, Caitlin Clark is having an unprecedented impact on secondary market ticket prices wherever she plays. Tickets to Iowa women's basketball road games are selling for as much as 20x on the secondary market compared to her opponent's home games that don't feature Clark.
In their analysis, Logitix tracked ticket sales for Iowa's away games starting from December, comparing those figures to the average prices of all other home games for the host team. The eye-popping figures represent the average sale price per ticket, exclusive of any fees.
