GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ (February 26, 2024)(CNBNews)--This past Saturday afternoon, a beautiful day, family and friends gathered at the Pine Grove Fire Hall on Jersey Avenue to celebrate a very special occasion - the 85th birthday of Rick Gonzales. Rick, a proud graduate of Gloucester High School, Class of 1960, had a distinguished career serving his country in the United States Navy. After completing his tour of duty, Rick worked tirelessly at the Philadelphia Navy Yard, where he gained valuable skills and experience.
Despite his busy schedule, Rick always found time to give back to his community. He was a well-known community activist, who dedicated much of his life to making a positive impact in the lives of those around him. Rick was a passionate advocate for local issues and ran for council, earning the respect and admiration of his fellow citizens.
For over a decade, Rick was a fixture at City Council meetings, where he tirelessly fought for the rights of his friends and neighbors. His unwavering dedication and commitment to public service were an inspiration to all who knew him. Through his own electrical business, Rick provided valuable jobs and opportunities for countless individuals in his community.
The celebration of Rick's 85th birthday was a testament to his remarkable life, filled with selflessness, hard work, and service to others. His family and friends were honored to be there to celebrate this milestone with him, and they wished him many more years of health, happiness, and fulfillment.
