On January 17th, 2024, the Gloucester City Planning/Zoning Board will meet at the Police Administration Building at 313 Monmouth Street.  The meeting will begin at 7:30 pm. Feather_pen_ink_3_5
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss and presumably pass an application of "Organic Remedies NJ, Inc. for a minor site plan and conditional use approval together with all variances and waivers as may be required by the Board and the Board Staff to operate a Class 5 cannabis retail establishment on the property located at 400 South Broadway and known as Block 131 Lot 10 of the Gloucester City tax map."  According to the internet that address belongs to Pat's Select Pizza and Grill.
The above information is taken directly from the City's legal notice in the Courier Post from January 7, 2024.  But this notice is new, not having been listed in the City's Council Meeting agenda in the past several months.
The Planning/Zoning Board has legal representation in the name of Anthony Drollas, Jr of Cherry Hill so it is up to him to define what a Class 5 Retail license is. The state defines it as off premises sales so when you order a pizza to be delivered you can also have your pot delivered at the same time and possibly by the same person.  The state's definition also says that the deliverer must have a license.
It is strongly suggested that you attend the meeting and get the legal information from Mr. Drollas rather than what is on the internet.
