PHILADELPHIA, Sunday, January 28, 2024 – The Philadelphia Police Department has officially identified the individual featured in the attached photos as Jose Quinones-Mendez, a 42-year-old male standing at 5’8 and weighing 160lbs, with a last known address 29XX N. Hancock Street.

 

The Philadelphia Police Department is actively seeking the public’s support in locating Jose Quinones-Mendez, who is wanted for charges including Violation of the Uniform Firearms Act (VUFA), Theft, Obstruction of Justice, and Tampering with Evidence. These charges are in connection to the recent shooting of a Philadelphia Police Officer that transpired on 01/26/2024 at 28xx N. Mascher Street.

 

Following the incident, Jose Quinones-Mendez fled the scene with a firearm and is to be considered armed and dangerous.
