Camden City Man Charged with Murder

Kathleen Hyk, of Gloucester City; Golden Nugget Black Jack Dealer; GCHS Alum Class of '63

Gloucester City, peacefully on January 5, 2024, at the age of 78. Born in Woodbury, NJ, she was the daughter of the late, Theodore and Mary (Karpiak) Hyk. Kathleen is survived by her sister, Jean M. Power; nephews, Theodore J. Power (Margaret), Matthew J. Power (Tara), Dennis J. Power (Grace) and her dear friends, Linda Hooper and Janine Buzby.

Kathleen had worked for many years as a blackjack dealer with Golden Nugget Casino in Atlantic City, NJ.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary's Church, 426 Monmouth Street on Thursday, January 11.  Interment will be private at a later date in New St. Mary’s Cemetery Bellmawr.
