GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ (January 31, 2024)--On January 25, after being notified by a Barnard Street resident of his efforts to have a trash dumpster removed from his neighborhood, CNBNews published photos of the dangerous and unsightly dumpster. JEER: In early December, a construction crew irresponsibly left a trash bin on wheels in front of 4 Barnard Ave. This careless act has caused severe traffic issues and hazardous situations for passersby. Despite repeated complaints to the police by the concerned neighbors, the overloaded bin remains there, spilling over with garbage and debris, making Barnard Avenue look like a slum area. It is unacceptable that the owner of the building and the department heads responsible for enforcing laws have ignored the issue. Such neglect has left the neighbors to deal with the situation on their own. It's high time that action is taken to remove the trash bin and restore the cleanliness and safety of the street. ~published January 25, 2024
